Follow the yellow brick road...all the way to Edinburgh!

Yes, that's right, "The Other" (the inimitable and presumably unforgettable one-woman show written, produced and performed by myself and Raffaella Sero last year) is going to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer!
As Dr Frankenstein would say - "IT'S ALIVE...finally"
After flat-lining for the last 12 months, due to the craziness of living life in your late 20s (and yes, I have officially accepted that 28 is LATE 20s, however much it pains me), we can finally feel a pulse in the heart of our beautiful play. And we can't wait to bring it to audiences old and new in the hallowed halls of Edinburgh (ironically in a venue titled 'The Vault', after suffering a rejection to be billed at the latest VAULT festival 2023).
I hope those of you who came to see the play last year (yikes, 12 months really has passed!) could see how much it meant to our little dream team and feel the love poured into every word of it, which is why we were certainly not ready for the story to be over. As Raff would say "this is the bit in our biographies where it gets really interesting!". All good creatives require turning points - it's a bit like we're afraid of straight lines and straightforward trajectories - so I suppose the optimist in me (and trust me, she's been doing a jig for the last 48 hours, ever since we got the news - it's quite infuriating actually) would say that like the phoenix, our play must now rise from the ashes of rejection and take the world by storm. Not that I'm over-dramatizing the whole affair, or making it more of a big deal than it actually is. I'm totally cool about it. Clearly.
But this good news means it'll soon be time for me to dust off that old script and get back into my brickwork, and that also means we'll be reaching out to lovely folk like you for your love, support, and guidance. Whether that be a contact you have in the Edinburgh press (or the Edinburgh gin company - I'm very prepared to help with taste testings while I'm there in August), or the knowledge of a spare room or two, we will need you (and yes, even YOU with the cup of tea and hot cross bun breezing through this blog only half paying attention) to quite literally get this show on the road. Or the train. We'll probably go by train.
Please do reach out if you have any questions, queries, comments or contacts, we would love to hear them ALL; evieflorenceactor@gmail.com or azdoratheatre@outlook.com are your best bet for reaching us. That or a message in a glass bottle. It usually finds its way to the Limehouse canals eventually.
We can't wait to roll out the welcome mat to you and all your friends - so start spreading the word, watch this space, and as soon as the programme is out GET YOUR TICKETS!
I cannot tell you how excited I am
Lots of love to you all xxx

Bet you are still wearing the same '' Jamas'''.😎😍
